Doggie rant

Well, this post originally was a long rant about the shelter that had Cooper, and how I sent them a slightly scathing email about their inability to return calls or emails over a 3 week period, and how that email resulted in an immediate response from the shelter, informing me that Cooper was still available for adoption but they hadn't bothered to contact any applicants since they hadn't had the time to look through the applications. I was upset, since we'd waited to hear from them for so long, and frustrated at their lack of courtesy, but now I'm not upset at all. It worked out for the best - Brad and I just absolutely love Jean Luc, the sweet (and VERY energetic, grin) boy we've adopted (see above posts)! So, in the interest of letting bad feelings go, I've deleted the rant. I'm really happy things worked out this way, I felt and feel much better about the rescue we adopted from.

I just really hope that some good family will/has apply/ied for Cooper and will be willing to wait endlessly for the rescue to get back to them, I really want him to find a good home.
