Doggie road trip - Jean Luc! Episode one.

Okay, first things first. Brad and I drove to California early Friday morning, stopping in Reno to visit my Grandma and my uncle's girlfriend. We arrived in Santa Rosa Friday afternoon in time for my neice, Ashyln's, swim meet. Then dinner and touring their new home, etc. The next morning, the girls somehow convinced me to do the "polar bear" as they call it, jumping into the non-heated pool early in the morning. Okay, so I slept until 9am, but still it was rather cold.

My sister and brother in law have about a half acre vinyard, and so we learned to pick grapes and a bit about wine making, or at least Brad did. I was busy packing the car while he got the lesson, but I still learned how to cut grapes:
