Baby skunks!

Brad and I were driving home last summer when movement by the road caught our attention. It looked like the ground was boiling.

So we slowed down, just in time to watch a mama skunk and a whole passel of baby skunks cross the road. We barely got a phone camera out in time to catch them.



It was getting dark so we pulled up closer and at an angle out of the sun.


I'm now convinced - ANY baby animal is cute, regardless of how you feel about the species in general.


And then they scurried off into the grass.
