OTC - Crazy Therapy Style
One of the things we spend a LOT of time doing here at the OTC is recovery. After every workout, training activity, sliding session, we spend between 1-2 hours focused on recovery.
First, we'll shower and stretch and / or foam roll our muscles. Then, well, in previous posts, you've seen the cold tub that we hang out in, but have I ever shown you these?
These are the Pants. By inflating various compartments, they help to flush the lactic acid out of your legs. It's not altogether pleasant, but I'll swear by them. Enough that if they were reasonably priced, we'd have a set at home!
We usually sit in them for 15-30 minutes, and afterward? Well, first it takes a few minutes before you can walk, but you have the added benefit of looking like spiderman.

It's like a strange form of body art!
After the Normatec pants, we'll then go spend some time in the cold tub or an ice bath, and then walk around in hoodies and warm pants all day, hunched over a mug of tea or coffee, still shivering regardless of the weather. But I can tell you, it's all worth it.
