Does this look dangerous?

We can't always push at the pushtrack at the Olympic Park due to their schedule. Plus, it's dangerous to the wildlife!

Also, it's good to get away from the heavy and over-stable pushtrack sled, and practice on an actual wheeled sled since it feels more like a sled on ice. So, sometimes our coach, Tim O'Mara will break out the wheeled sled at the gym (ATP Fitness in Salt Lake City), and he'll work with us on various stages of the start.

The only problem: stopping can be difficult.

And we're aimed right at some expensive equipment.

But (knock on wood) so far nothing has gotten broken, and our push times are continually improving (Saturday 10/9/2010 Brad and I both had PR (personal record) pushes on the pushtrack!).

Wish us luck at Trials; we fly to Placid Thursday (10/14) and are on the ice the next day!
