Off to Europe again!

I'm going to set this to post so that I'm already on the plane when it shows up...

So, I'm on a plane, on my way to Munich again, hopefully sleeping and catching up. What more can I say?

I guess I can apologize for the lack of updates, but the last month was crazy! Please forgive...

  • getting caught up and then ahead at work (and getting the 2009 unpaid-leave approved just in time)
  • catching up with things around the house (and finally taking the Christmas decorations down, um, just this week)
  • working with professors (University of Utah) to get things set for the semester and missing three weeks (Gah!!! That'll be rough but fortunately the professors are being very supportive about it, phew.)
  • prepping for the trip in general (too much to list!)
  • the holidays (no small detail, I know)
  • dealing with repairing and replacing bags damaged by Delta (they were great though, completely replaced one bag and gave me a voucher for the damage on the other, even during the holiday rush when service goes down! Cheers for Delta on this one!)
  • getting my Altenberg speedsuit damage repaired, hee hee
  • reading quite a few books (during school I don't have time to enjoy a good book, so enjoy several during the break I did!)
  • and a myriad of other things
Now all that is over and I'm on my way. Here starts another 3 weeks of Europe travel, so look for (hopefully) more frequent updates!

The first week: Cesana/Sestriere, Italy
Second week: Igls, Austria
Third week: Königssee, Germany

  1. Good luck! I'd be terribly jealous except that I am way too chicken to want to fling myself down an ice chute on a sled. ;) Enjoy yourself and do awesomely! (Is there a verb for skeleton? Does one "skell" well? Or "skeleton" well? Or do you just go with "slide"?)

Ok, obviously I need a litte more sleep.

    Bottom line, good luck!
