Cesana ICC - 2009 Belated photos

Sorry for the delay - we've been in Austria for the last few days and have limited internet here this time. I've been slowly uploading photos, and now that they are all online I can post them!

First, the awesome wardrobe / closet in our room in Sestriere.


Both race days in Italy were snowy.


Day 1, after I popped the groove and didn't get a second run, I chilled out on the floor. The long days made me so tired!




I also ate this funny snack - a juice/nutella/cracker lunch tin!






Race day 2 wasn't much better...if anything, there was more snow!

Warming up pretty much sucked.






At least we had good spirits!




Go team Canada! The coach grabbed a snow scoop and pushed clear a couple pathways for us.




We would run or do drills down the paths, then walk back in the snow so the next girl could have the path.

After the depressing time posted for my first (and only) run (I am still not sure what went wrong...oh well, water under the bridge), I grabbed Keslie's super nice camera and took about 50-60 shots of the race and competitors, some of which turned out really cool. However, before I could grab a copy, she got called up to race in the World Cup in Vancouver, and the pics are with her. Sorry!
