No racing for a couple weeks...

So, long story short, while practicing for the 2008 Deer Valley race, I crashed here:

and didn't get to race, which was sad, but I did end up with these matching bad boys:

though only the left one is from the Deer Valley crash. The right one is from Angel Fire, about 6 weeks ago...I asked the doctor to check out my right thumb since it still felt sore and bruised...and it turned out the right wrist was worse!

Radius fracture on the left, scaphoid fracture on the right, and typing is difficult so this post will be short!

The good news: only 4 weeks in the splints or so, and they molded the splints around my bike grips so I can start riding gently next week, and can still try to race Nationals (not DH but maybe Super D) in VT in 3 weeks...yay!
